So what exactly should smart consumers be asking sales representatives?
This is precisely what we unveil throughout our article series "10 Questions To Ask When Hiring A Sales Representative." Let's continue with your 3rd question:
#3 - “Is This Neighborhood Evolving?”
Real estate agents come in all shapes and sizes. But a great agent is like a superhero. They have an instinct about things in real estate or have experience in recognizing trends in the market. They look out for your best interest. So if you are keen on a property and prefer a sound investment, it is imperative that you should inquire about a neighborhood’s current state of affairs and foretelling future. There have been desolate areas that start blooming with amenities and evolve into a portrait of architectural beauty and in just a few years thrive with residential population.
An agent’s neighbourhood’s examination includes infrastructure updating and new home construction, with similar activity occurring in its periphery. So if nearby neighbourhoods are seeing growth, this can be a great sign for yours. Street scape maintenance is also a great sign. A positive key indicator for growth would be if commercial properties are popping up or peacocking around. If on your drive one morning you suddenly see a Starbucks showing off, your neighbourhood is definitely appreciating.
There are many indictors which point to growth or decline, but great agents ensure your investment evolves, along with your beautiful neighborhood of choice.
In the end, you want your real estate transaction to be memorable, hassle-free, and to achieve the best purchase or sale price. It always starts with asking the right questions.
